Colorado Renaissance Festival

Flash back to the 16th Century and journey through a medieval city. Enjoy full-armor jousting, tasty turkey legs, music and a marketplace featuring more than 200 artisans. For many Colorado residents, visiting the Colorado Renaissance Festival in Larkspur is a beloved summer tradition. While the Renaissance Festival is full of delights and entertainment for everybody, it may be of particular interest to those who follow a pagan path, especially a path influenced by Celtic traditions. Attending the Renaissance Festival is a wonderful way to support talented artisans who handcraft their wares. In this age of mass-produced and mass-marketed merchandise, it is very refreshing to see beautiful items from jewelry to candles to incense to leather shoes that have all been made by hand. As some of the vendors at the festival are pagans themselves, it is also nice to be able to support them. While there are too many wonderful artisans and vendors at the festival to name them all in an article of this size, here are some of the vendors to watch for when you are at the festival.
